Social Media Users Celebrate The One Year Anniversary Of The Montgomery Brawl; ‘Fade In The Water’

Cousins 🪑 Today marks the official one year anniversary of the legendary Montgomery Brawl!

On this day Black Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and every other social media platform joined forces to provide different angles, memes, video clips, and images of the ordeal as it continued to rack up views.

As we previously reported an incident occurred on a dock in Montgomery as a group of white males attacked a Black employee as he attempted to do his job. Following a string of trials that followed soon after the altercation, the identified employee Damieon Pickett provided further insight. He testified that he had confronted the group as they were blocking a spot he was set to dock.

Though there haven’t been any details provided as to why the conversation turned physical, a series of videos show that the group of white males messed around and found out that they had put their hands on the wrong one. Fellow Black women and men immediately stepped in to assist Damieon as he was being attacked by the group.

It has been stated that the white male who initially attacked Dameion was ordered to serve jail time as all other parties included received community service, anger management meetings, and fines.
