A Florida father is mourning the heartbreaking loss of his wife and their young daughter after the two were tragically struck by lightning just feet away from him.
According to NBC Miami, Kenya Glasgow and her husband, Kameron, had just arrived at his aunt’s home for dinner when the weather suddenly worsened. Kameron says the family was rushing inside when lightning struck before they could make it through the door.
Tragically, Kenya and one of the couple’s 2-year-old twin daughters, Kennedi, were struck while Kameron was just feet away. Their other daughter, Kensli, was still inside the vehicle when the lightning strike occurred.

Kameron recalled the devastating moment, saying, “The worst feeling in the world and to turn around and see your wife and daughter there lifeless, even worse.”
Both Kenya and Kennedi received CPR at the scene before being transported to separate local hospitals. Sadly, they both passed away shortly after arriving.
Kameron is now left grieving his wife and daughter while caring for their surviving twin, Kensli. The unimaginable tragedy has left the family and their community heartbroken.
