Remy Ma Reveals She Is Single; “Says She Doesn’t Know How To Date, “I was in the same situation for almost 20 years. I don’t date.”

Remy Ma is single like a dollar bill and she’s officially opening up about the challenges that come with it!

During a recent interview with Angie Martinez, the Bronx rapper confirmed her relationship status while admitting she’s not exactly ready to jump back into the dating scene. After spending nearly 20 years in what she referred to as “the same situation,” Remy said dating is something she simply doesn’t know how to do.

When Angie asked if she’d tried dating, Remy didn’t hesitate. “No. It’s terrible,” she replied. She went on to explain that she’s hesitant to get involved with someone new without first making sure they’re free from unnecessary drama.

“What if I like somebody? What if I go on this date and I like them, and now they’re involved in some corny internet stuff that’s going on?” she said.

For now, Remy says she’s focused on getting back to herself before letting anyone new into her life.

“I want to make sure that everything is Smooth sailing. Can I just make sure that yeah, let me get back on schedule with my pedicures, my manicures, and my waxes and things like that.”

From staying consistent with her self-care routine including manicures, pedicures, and wax appointments to making sure everything is “smooth sailing.”

Remy is currently undergoing a pending divorce battle with Papoose. The two tied the knot in 2016 and separated in late 2024. Though Remy has addressed rumors regarding any separate relationships, it has been said that she was involved with battle rapper Eazy Block Captain.
