Cousins! Reggie Bernard Ray known for swinging a folding chair a part of the viral Alabama Riverfront brawl has avoided jail time!

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Reggie has been ordered to complete a total of 50 hours of community service. He has also been ordered to pay a fine of $357 and stay out of trouble for 90 days.

It has been indicated that Reggie pleaded guilty following the August viral incident.

The racially motivated ordeal took the internet by storm as a white male was captured on cellphone footage attacking a Black riverboat captain in a parking dispute.

Things quickly escalated as a series of white men and women jumped in to attack the captain. In response, witnesses came to the riverboat captain’s defense.

Within the now viral video clip, Reggie can be seen swinging a folding chair at multiple white boaters. The chaotic ordeal immediately began to trend throughout Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube including additional platforms as social media users created countless memes.

Court documents show that Reggie alongside three other individuals turned themselves in to the authorities.

Reports read that Reggie’s attorney established a GoFundMe account on his behalf after he was charged with disorderly conduct. The campaign has successfully raised close to $300,000 in funding for his medical bills, lost wages, and additional expenses.

TMZ reports that Reggie also attempted to sell merch of his own following the viral brawl.

According to CBS News, two additional men have pleaded guilty to harassment charges following the Alabama riverfront brawl.

Zachary Shipman and Allen Todd secured a deal of their own after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges.

Sources state that a judge ruled to dismiss an assault charge filed by one of the white boaters against the riverboat co-captain. It has been indicated that a Montgomery Police Department identified the co-captain as a victim.
