The autopsy report of 14-year-old boy Tyre Sampson after falling off an amusement park ride at ICON Park has officially been forwarded with alarming details!
According to Washington Post The ICON PARK’s maximum passenger weight for the Orlando Free Fall is 287 pounds. However, none of the employees told Sampson about it, and there wasn’t a weight restriction posted at the ticket counter. Sampson weighed 383 pounds and was 6 feet tall.
Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy report, Tyre’s departure from Earth on March 24th was due to blunt force trauma to his head and body. His death was ruled an accident.
Tyre fell off The Orlando Free Fall, which is referred to as the “world’s tallest free-standing drop tower.” This significant ride generally goes around 70 mph and drops nearly 400 feet. During the ride, he was ejected from his seat and fell 100 feet to death, as stated by a cross-examination. Tyre was at the Florida-based amusement park during a spring break trip.
The report, obtained by the Washington Post, also says that he was “not properly secured in his seat primarily due to the misadjustment of the harness proximity sensor.” Before flying off, the establishment allowed both safety lights to signal off, although it was unsafe.
An attorney for Tyre’s mother spoke to The Washington Post about the unfortunate incident.
He said, “No one could have survived this preventable fall from over a hundred feet in the air at that speed. The autopsy report confirms that Tyre was almost 100 pounds over the passenger weight limit. The negligence, in this case, is unrebuttable.”

His family has since filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the amusement park, the ride’s operator, and the manufacturer. They all are being represented by separate attorneys.
The lawsuit also states,
“Tyre had a long and prosperous life in front of him that was cut short by this tragic event.”
