A Dayton, Ohio woman has forwarded a wrongful death suit after tragically suffering a miscarriage in result of multiple injuries while attending the controversial Astroworld festival last year!

Shanazia Williamson alongside her husband Jarawd Owens are currently suing Travis Scott , Live Nation and ScoreMore security company Valle Services SMG, ASM Global, and the Harris County Sports and Convention corporation.

According to RollingStone, the couple has issued the suit since December but it ironically hasn’t surfaced within mainstream media until earlier this week.

“While in attendance at the festival, Shanazia was trampled and crushed resulting in horrific injuries and ultimately the death of her and Jarawd’s unborn child,” reads court documents.

“In addition, Shanazia sustained injuries to her shoulder, back, leg, chest, stomach and other parts of her body.”

It has been indicated that cases like these carry great complexity when involving state laws and regulations especially in Texas.

“In thinking about these kind of cases, courts have sometimes said this isn’t a situation like abortion,” said law professor at the University of Texas, Elizabeth Sepper.

“It doesn’t involve the same sorts of analysis, because when we’re thinking about abortion, we’re balancing the state interest in preserving or protecting fetal life against a pregnant person’s right to privacy and bodily autonomy so their interests are in conflict. But when we’re talking about a wrongful act that results in the loss of a pregnancy, the pregnant person’s interests align with a fetal interest, and it’s in the interests of the mother to have people not commit wrongs against the fetus that she’s carrying.”

Reports read that nearly 700 festival goers have sued upon claims injuries that require “extensive” medical treatment. Also over 4,000 people have claimed that they have suffered some form of injury.

Live Nation and subsidiary ScoreMore have denied all allegations placed against them, as well as the the main security provider for the event, Contemporary Services Corporation.
