1 Year Old Baby Girl Released From Hospital After Being Shot In The Face By A Stray Bullet In The Bronx!



An absolutely gorgeous baby girl is back home amongst her loved ones after tragically being shot in the face during a shoot out in The Bronx days before her first birthday!

According to Pix 11, the incident took place over four months ago back on January 19th when a gunman opened fired within the Valentine Avenue area of East 198th Street in Jerome Park. Sadly, a bullet grazed the cheek of Miraide Gomez daughter while they sat within a parked car.

Official reports read that the baby was listed in critical condition. Two days after the shocking incident the young child celebrated her first birthday in the hospital.

Sources confirm that after months of medical treatment the baby was released from the Blythedale Children’s Hospital located in Valhalla. Her mother says her baby girl’s recovery has been a “miracle medical journey.”

“Here we are and she’s walking, which is something that they told us might not happen.”

Unfortunately no arrests have been made at this time. The shooter is being described as being medium build, was last seen wearing a face mask, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a white Nike logo on the front, gray sweatpants and black and white sneakers. He is said to have fled the scene in a gray car afterwards.

NYPD officials are currently offering $10,000 for anyone with further information that can lead to an arrest.
