Super mogul #SteveHarvey has recently announced that he will be providing a full pledge ride within expenses towards 8 students education to his alma matter of Kent State University!
According to the #DailyNews Steve is set to forward a total of $23,000 per student within a scholarship fund. Sources have indicated that the scholarship will cover all initial costs for the incoming students. The contributions are derived directly from the Steve & Majorie Harvey Foundation. Originally established by Steve and his wife to help assist children from inner city rural areas with educational opportunities.
Reports read that 7 selected students from Ohio and a single student from Maryland must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 and higher per semester while attending the College.
Harvey’s act of kindness is to Honor the life of a former Kent University student Devim Moore who passed during a basketball game in 2017.
