Noir Nation, an era in hip-hop radio has officially come to a close.
After 13 years, Ebro In The Morning has wrapped up its legendary run at Hot 97 in New York, marking the end of a show that helped shape daily conversations around music, culture, and entertainment.
The long-running morning show — hosted by Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez has officially been removed from the station’s lineup, closing a major chapter in NYC radio history.
For over a decade, the trio set the tone for mornings with unfiltered dialogue, cultural moments, and debates that extended far beyond the airwaves.
Moments after the final broadcast, Ebro took to social media with a simple but powerful message: “It’s done. More to come,” hinting at his next move beyond the mic.
Rosenberg followed with a heartfelt post, sharing that he’d “lived out a childhood dream” and expressed excitement about new opportunities ahead, encouraging listeners to embrace change. Laura Stylez also teased what’s next, posting that “more [is] coming next year!” for all three hosts in 2026.
“We had the best time… the most beautiful listeners and got to work with legends I love. I’m so proud of the work we did together… I lived so many of my dreams at Hot97 and got to work with my best friends! ….and best friends don’t let go… trust me, @oldmanebro @rosenbergradio and I have plans and more coming next year! ❤️❤️❤️”
Noir Nation… will your morning commute ever hit the same after this? 😩📻
