Cousins! The New York Police Department has arrested a man for murder and concealment of a human corpse in connection to a woman’s body discovered wrapped in a sleeping bag!
Chad Irish has been charged with second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon regarding the tragic death of Yazmeen Williams.
According to Fox News, the 31-year-old’s lifeless body was discovered wrapped in a sleeping bag on 27th Street between second and third avenue last week on Friday July 5th. She is said to have suffered a gunshot wound to her head.
Her death has since been ruled a homicide by a medical examiner.
“I didn’t do it,” said Irish to news reporters as he was wheeled out of the 13th Precinct located in Gramercy Park. “I didn’t hurt anybody.”
Sources state that obtained surveillance footage shows a man in an electric wheelchair dragging Yazmeen’s body to the curb using a dolly to wheel it.
Chad was taken into custody on Monday and received a dose of street justice as members of the neighborhood gathered to attack him. Yazmeen is said to have grown up in the area.
Investigators are still searching for the murder weapon and have also executed a search warrant into Chad’s apartment where they believe Yazmeen was killed.

The victim is said to have stayed with Chad from time to time, however the nature of their relationship remains unclear.
Chad is described as ambulatory, meaning he is able to walk but chooses to use a wheelchair to move around.
“You killed my daughter,” said Yazmeen’s mother Nicole Williams.
Authorities state that the 55-year-old has a criminal history that dates back to the early 90s as he’s been in and out of state prison.
Chad was arrested in July 2022 for a Bronx robbery.
He hasn’t been charged for Yasmeen’s death at this time.
Senator Kristen Gonzalez, Assemblymember Harvey Epstein, and Councilmember Carlina Rivera released a joint statement regarding Yazmeen’s death,
“Our hearts go out to Yazmeen’s family, particularly her mother, Nicole Williams, who has shown immense strength during this unimaginably difficult time.
“Yazmeen was a bright and accomplished individual, a graduate of Buffalo State University with a degree in criminal justice, and she had just begun a promising career with the New York City Housing Authority. The loss of someone so deeply committed to the wellbeing of her neighbors is immeasurable. This tragedy has left a void in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.”
