Coming to a supermarket shelf near you is something exciting for both cereal and Nickelodeon fanatics; a special edition of Kellogg’s Apple Jacks!

Apple Jacks is creating a new rendition of their cereal in collaboration with the iconic 90’s Slime television show. The cereal will feature the same-colored loops, consisting of both green and orange along with the appealing green apple flavoring. Kellogg’s claims that the new cereal will add fun to breakfast once milk is added, it will turn green, which will add a more vibrant shade of Nickelodeon Slime.

 The Slime television show grew within popularity amongst kids and parents  back in the day as each week viewers would tune in to watch contestsnts shake in their boots hoping that they would not be covered from head to toe in the signature gooey green slime. Over 30 years later and the show has grown within influence and into an overall franchise.

 “Both known for our bright orange and green colors, Kellogg’s Apple Jacks and Nickelodeon Slime are a perfect pairing,” said Sadie Garcia, Director of Brand Marketing at Kellogg All Family Cereal. “Now families can discover all the fun of Slime at the breakfast table with a delicious new cereal that changes the color of the milk while you eat,”reads a statement released from the brand to promote their new product.

According to HYPEBEAST, the  cereal will be available nationwide only for a limited time in July starting at $4.49 for an 8.2-ounce box. Marketers are excited to bring the iconic green slime back into fruition with hopes that fans will enjoy the cereal.
