“This is hilarious,” Tracee wrote on Instagram. “I pack 2 pairs IN MY CARRY ON… in case my luggage doesn’t make it!!! That’s what I said. People hear what they want.”

The viral moment happened during Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Summit on July 15, where Tracee, 52, took the stage to share her minimalist travel tips—and let’s just say, sis keeps it light.
“There’s always one bathing suit, a flip flop and one little dress I can roll up. And there’s always two undies,” she said matter-of-factly.

Before y’all judge, understand this isn’t her first rodeo. Tracee’s got a method to her madness: she hand washes her underwear while traveling using hotel sinks and shower gel.
“I use one sink to lather and another to rinse,” she explained. “Then I hang them up on the towel rack to dry.”

And for those asking why she won’t just bring a full set of drawers for every day, Tracee had a valid point:
“If I’m gone for a month on this trip, you can’t pack a month’s worth of underwear,” she said. “They take up a lot of space.”
