Cousins! Actor Jonathan Majors has officially been sentenced to a mandatory in-person 52-week domestic violence prevention program after a jury found him guilty of assault and harassment against his former girlfriend Grace Jabbari!

According to CNN, New York criminal judge Michael J. Gaffey ruled on Monday, April 8th that Jonathan must pay a separate $250 surcharge and provide his DNA as it is his first conviction.

Reports read that Jonathan shall receive no further consequences in connection to the incident. A misdemeanor for assault has since been conditionally dismissed also.

Judge Gaffey says that jail time for Jonathan is not necessary. However, if he violates any terms of his probation he could end up behind bars.

As we previously reported, the rising actor was convicted back in December 2023 on one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a non-criminal charge of harassment as a violation.

Jonathan was acquitted on another assault charge and one count of aggravated harassment. He was eligible for up to one year in jail based on his conviction.

Court documents have determined that Jonathan must enroll in a domestic violence program and that it must be approved by the county of Los Angeles probation department in California.

“This is a serious sentence, which is appropriate because this was a very serious crime,” said Grace’s attorney Ross Kramer.

“Grace demonstrated that justice can be served in cases like this. Hopefully, her example will empower other survivors to break their silence and hold their abusers accountable.”
