Cousins! An official verdict has been reached in YFN Lucci’s 2021 Racketeering case as he’s officially entered a guilty plea!
According to WSB-TV 2, as of Tuesday, January 23rd, Lucci has pleaded guilty to one count of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Lucci born Rayshawn Bennett, was originally facing multiple felony counts, along with felony murder.
It has been stated that felony murder carries a maximum penalty of life without parole.
Reports read that the prosecution team has proposed a 20-year sentence with 10 years to serve in jail. Within the accepted plea deal, Lucci would get credit for time served, beginning at the time of his surrender back in Jan of 2021.
As we previously reported YFN was named amongst multiple suspects indicted within a 75-page racketeering indictment affiliated with the Bloods streets gang.
It has been indicated that since Lucci has already served three years behind bars, he will be eligible for parole around the next three years. If approved for release, he’ll be able to serve out the rest of his sentence of probation.
WSB-TV 2 reports that Lucci apologized to the victim’s family including his own friends and family while appearing in court on Tuesday.
