Cousins! A long-standing dispute regarding loud snoring has turned tragic following reports that a man who shared a connected wall has brutally stabbed his neighbor to death!

The District Attorney’s office states, that Christopher Casey of the Hatboro section of Upper Moreland Township, has been charged with third-degree murder along with additional related charges following the murder of his neighbor Robert Wallace, 62.

According to NBC Philadelphia News, 911 responded to a call from Christopher on Monday, January 15th around 6:30 PM following a stabbing at his home. Officials state that upon their arrival they discovered Robert roughly 50 feet away from Christopher’s residence with numerous stab wounds.

Investigators state that Robert showed up at Christopher’s home while he was eating dinner and removed a screen from his window. The two men are said to have gotten into an argument and that Christopher pulled out a large military-style knife and stabbed Robert several times.

Reports read that Christopher stabbed Robert in his chest and accidentally stabbed himself in the leg. After Robert ultimately collapsed, Christopher dialed 911.

Both men were transferred to the hospital for their injuries. Robert was pronounced dead at 7:06 PM.

Christopher was arrested on Thursday, January 18th, and has since been charged with third-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and possessing an instrument of crime.

Local authorities confirmed their knowledge of the two neighbors’ continuous feud throughout the years and their ongoing arguments surrounding Christopher’s snoring. It has been indicated that Robert would often complain about Christopher’s snoring as the two shared a connected wall.

Christopher is currently being held on a $1M bail bond, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 29, says the District Attorney’s Office.
