Love was definitely in the air Tuesday night at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, as Young Thug took his Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends – A Benefit Concert to a whole new level of romance!
During the show, the rapper got down on one knee and proposed to singer Mariah The Scientist, leaving fans cheering and in awe.
As Mariah wrapped up her set, the words “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” appeared on the arena screen, prompting an immediate wave of excitement from the crowd.
“Guess I’m getting married!” Mariah squealed after Young Thug popped the question, sharing her joy with fans in the moment.
The couple has been romantically linked since 2021, marking about four years together.
In a recent interview with Angie Martinez for Power 105, Mariah shared that she had been hoping to get married before starting a family, making the proposal a long-awaited milestone in their relationship.
“I want to be married,” she said, adding, “Listen, that’s my plan. I can’t speak for everybody, that’s my plan though. That’s what I’m doing.”
