Cousins!
It appears the highly anticipated Fugees reunion tour has officially been cancelled!
As we previously reported back in September the trio of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel were set to hit the stage together for the very first time in 25 years.
Unfortunately a verified Instagram account for the dynamic trio announced the news earlier today, ruling their decision to opt-out as a direct cause of the pandemic.

“We anticipate and understand disappointment but our anniversary tour will not be able to happen. The continued Covid pandemic has made touring conditions difficult, and we want to make sure we keep our fans and ourselves healthy and safe.”
The statement continues, “An idea sparked to honor and celebrate this 25th anniversary of ‘The Score’ but we see now it may not currently be our time for revisiting this past work.”
The tour originally kicked off with a small pop-up show in New York City back in September, reports CNN.
The remainder of the tour was scheduled to pick up in November but was postponed until 2022..
“We’re grateful for the special night we did get to share with some of you in New York, with that rare live moment. If opportunity, public safety, and scheduling allow, we hope to be able to revisit this again sometime soon,” the statement concludes. “Thank you for all of your love and support throughout the years.”
