Ian, 26 passing has been ruled as death by apparent suicide. It has been stated that the tragic incident took place exactly two days after his birthday, reports Love B Scott .

According to People Magazine, Regina King confirmed the news to them in a forwarded statement.

“Our family is devastated at the deepest level by the loss of Ian. He is such a bright light who cared so deeply about the happiness of others. Our family asks for respectful consideration during this private time. Thank you.”

Ian was King’s only child, who she shared with her ex-husband, record producer Ian Alexander Sr.
