12 Year Old Boy Passes Away After Being Punched In The Head Within A Dollar Dare!

The tragic and sudden death of a 12 year old boy is currently being investigated by local police following suspicions that he was bullied at school prior to the incident!

Romy Vilsaint told his family members as well as school officials that he was punched in the head by two students at dismissal reports ABC News.

Sources have confirmed that police officials responded to reports of an assault on Cortelyou Road within the Flatbush, Brooklyn area on Friday.

Romy’s cousin Exantus advised officials that he had a bad headache and had been throwing up. “He told me after he got punched in the head, he reported it to the teacher or the principal, I’m not sure which, and the teacher asked the kid, who said he got paid a dollar from this kid to do that.“

He goes on to explain that the incident took place on Thursday and that Romy spent part of Thursday in the school nurse’s office and stayed home sick on Friday within their East Flatbush apartment.

The family then called for an ambulance after Romy began throwing up on Friday afternoon.

“I can’t say too much I can’t put no blame on no one,” Exantus said. “I wish when he was in the nursing room, they had called the hospital but I can’t blame nobody.”

Romy was also conscious at the time officials arrived an informed medics that he was punched in the head. He was rushed to King’s County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Reports read that Romy was originally born in Haiti and moved to Brooklyn in 2017 to live with his father, two sisters, and his cousin’s family. His mother as well as his three other sisters live in Haiti, she has stated she sent Romy to America to live a better life.

The press secretary for NYC school released a statement following Romy’s passing, “This is a horrible tragedy and our thoughts are with the family during this incredibly difficult time. The safety of our young people is our absolute priority and this incident will be thoroughly investigated, and we are providing supports to both the family and school community.”
