Following the premier of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey the couple was finally able to opened up about their personal experiences and never released details of their time together living as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex within the Royal family and after announcing their departure from the U.K!

One of the many shocking details the couple reflected on was the beginning of their journey upon the road to independence.

 “Short notice, that security was going to be removed,” Harry said to Oprah.
He stated that following their change of status, of deciding to become “no longer working members of the royal family,” their security detail would be lifted immediately.

According to CBS news of Harry and Meghan relocating to Canada was released to the public during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

“So suddenly it dawned on me, ‘Hang on, the borders could be closed, we’re going to have our security removed, who knows how long lockdown is going to be, the world knows where we are, it’s not safe, it’s not secure, we probably need to get out of here,” stated Harry.

Meghan went on to reveal that the couple was left without a plan or strategy moving forward. However they were soon invited by multitalented billionaire Tyler Perry to stay at his Southern California home.

It has been indicated that Meghan, Harry and their son Archie lived Tyler’s mansion for three months along with a security detail.

“Gave us breathing room to try to figure out what we were going to do,” says Meghan.
