Former Miss North Carolina USA Brittany Boltinhouse is doubling down after losing her crown over resurfaced social media posts in which she allegedly used the N-word!
In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Boltinhouse was asked whether she believes she should apologize for using the racial slur. Her response? “No. Not at all.”
Boltinhouse has maintained that she was unfairly targeted and believes her conservative and Christian beliefs played a role in the decision to remove her title.
“I’m going to address those [tweets] in my lawsuit, I’m not going to deny them or run from them. But they did not take my crown because of those posts.”
She has also argued that expressing her views is protected by the First Amendment.
“It’s a constitutional right, it’s your First Amendment right to express yourself … and I feel like I was ripped of that as a a proud American.”
