It is with great pleasure that we inform you all that Eric Ronald Holder Jr. has officially been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of Nipsey Hussle !

According to ABC News, Eric’s lawyer admitted that his client shot and killed the Los Angeles Legend, but argued that the crime was done in the heat of passion.

However prosecutors Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney John McKinney said during trial Eric had a conversation with Hussle and two others at The Marathon in South Los Angeles prior to the shooting.

As we previously reported Eric had returned to the store with anger because he had been accused of being a snitch. Upon his return to the Marathon clothing store, it has been confirmed by multiple witnesses that he walked up to Nip and began opening fire immediately.

An official corner report’s details the rapper died from gunshot wounds to his head and torso, ruling the his a homicide.

Both Eric and Nipsey are said to have grown up in the same neighborhood and were members of the same street gang.

Despite being found not guilty of attempted murder against two men who were wounded in the 2019 shooting attack, Eric faces up to life in prison.

“It was always going to be tough given the high profile circumstances surrounding the case,” said Holder’s attorney Aaron Jansen.

“We are grateful that the jury agreed with us, in part, that the case was overcharged and voted to acquit Mr. Holder, Jr. of the two attempted murder charges.”
