#Cousins, as we all practice washing our hands, maintaining social distance and getting our vitamin c game up, a crazy customer decided a funny (NOT) joke would be to cough on $35K worth of food at Pennsylvania supermarket!

Within this day and age a simple cough is absolutely nothing to play with as it could potentially make the difference between life or death. Which is why Joe Fasula, co-owner of Gerrity’s supermarket took the necessary precautions to have all of the food the deranged customer came in contact with thrown out, reports NBC News.

“Today was a very challenging day. “A woman, who the police know to be a chronic problem in the community,” walked into the chain’s Hanover Township store and “proceeded to purposely cough on our fresh produce, and a small section of our bakery, meat case and grocery,” Fasula states within a #Facebook post.

He continues, “While there is little doubt this woman was doing it as a very twisted prank … we had no choice but to throw out all product she came in contact with.” “Working closely with the Hanover Township health inspector, we identified every area that she was in, we disposed of the product and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected everything.”

It has been indicated that authorities are currently working on getting the woman tested for the #Coronavirus.

“I am also absolutely sick to my stomach about the loss of food,” Fasula wrote. “While it is always a shame when food is wasted, in these times when so many people are worried about the security of our food supply, it is even more disturbing.”

Reports read that the unidentified woman is currently in police custody while awaiting mental evaluation and that charges will be set into place.
