Musician and mogul #Rihanna has recently steeped in to offer a much needed helping hand to the state of #NewYork by donating protective gear to hospitals and health care officials tackling the #Coronavirus pandemic!
NewYork currently holds the unfortunate title of having the most positively tested #Coronavirus victims in the United States. As time progresses the virus only continues to spread, ultimately leading to limited available space in hospital facilities and a rapid decreases in necessary supplies.
According to the Daily News, Governor #AndrewCuomo recently took to the social media platform of #Twitter this morning to personally thank Rihanna.
“I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State,” Cuomo wrote on Thursday. “We’re so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up.”
As we previously reported, Rihanna has also forwarded $5 million dollars through her Clara Lionel Foundation in efforts of funding food banks and health facilities throughout the world.
