Killer Mike Files Lawsuit Against Private Security Company Following His Arrest At 2024 Grammy Awards!

Noir Nation, after successfully sweeping three rap categories at the 2024 Grammy Awards Atlanta rapper Killer Mike’s evening of celebrating was drastically turned upside down as he was later detained and arrested!

In a newly filed lawsuit issued on February 3rd in Los Angeles Superior Court, Killer Mike born Michael Render accuses the private security company of S & S Labor Force of, “false arrest and imprisonment, assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.”

Before his arrest, Mike won three Grammys’ at the 66th Annual ceremony for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance for his collaboration ‘ Scientists & Engineers,’ featuring Andre 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane.

According to court documents from Rolling Stone Killer Mike has issued claims that a S&S employee overstepped their responsibilities, “degrade[d], embarrass[ed], and physically hurt” him, causing “unnecessary public embarrassment, distress, and professional harm.”

The suit adds, “Defendants wrongly caused the plaintiff to be falsely arrested and had him placed in jail during the remainder of the Grammy Awards Ceremony.”

The forwarded lawsuit provided details into the night in question as Killer Mike mentioned a female guard conducting a false arrest, ultimately placing him in jail for the remainder of the Grammy Awards Ceremony.

Killer Mike says that the incident has hurt his career in depriving him of the opportunity to, “–deprived of the valuable opportunity to be present at the awards ceremony where he was scheduled to appear on primetime television in front of a huge international audience to appear and speak and be recognized on the telecast for his historic achievements.”

He also accuses the guard of using unnecessary force to restrain him. The 49-year-old claims that he was “physically assaulted and battered” as the guard grabbed his arm to prevent him from leaving.

Fox 5 Atlanta News reports that in response to Killer Mike’s suit, S&S has denied all claims while suggesting that they have plans to take legal action of their own.

Sources state that the suit will undergo further legal proceedings, as both sides will present their recounts of the February 2024 incident.

Killer Mike is currently seeking damages as he expresses experiencing emotional distress and harm to his reputation.
