Michael Jordan’s Son Marcus Breaks Silence Following DUI Arrest In Florida!

Noir Nation, Marcus Jordan is officially speaking out after being apprehended for possession of cocaine and resisting arrest in Florida this week!

“I appreciate everyone reaching out. I’m focusing on @trophyroomstore right now and won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life,” wrote Marcus on Thursday evening in a post to his Instagram story. The message appeared alongside a photo of his Orlando located boutique store, ‘Trophy Room’

“I sincerely appreciate your concerns & thank you for your kind understanding.”

According to reports from the NY Post Marcus, also identified as the second eldest child of NBA legendary all-star Michael Jordan, was arrested on Tuesday February 4th around 1 AM.

Sources state that Marcus sped away from an attempted traffic stop. A shared video shows police approaching him and ultimately having to chase after him.

Moments later, Marcus and his Lamborghini were discovered after accidentally landing on Maitland train tracks around 1:15 AM.

According to TMZ, Marcus is said to have told officers that he had “taken a wrong turn and needed help getting his car off the tracks.”

Officers state that Marcus appeared as if he was “trying to get away from the area but couldn’t.”

Within the captured video, Marcus can be heard name dropping his father’s name, “Bro, I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son,” Jordan said to one officer. “I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. OK?

Court documents read that Marcus was arrested shortly after failing three field sobriety tests. It has also been indicated that officers discovered a white substance in his which was later confirmed to be cocaine upon testing.

 “–did not do well in any of the trio,” says authorities.

The 34 allegedly slurred his words says officers. Marcus is also said to had red, bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelt like alcohol.

He later told officers that he had been drinking earlier in the evening at a local gentlemen’s club and that he was sure that his blood alcohol content levels were below the legal limit of .08.

While being transported to Orange County jail, Marcus is said to have sang the entire way and declined to provide a breath sample while in custody.

According to Page Six, Marcus bail had been set to $4,000 and was released later in the day.
