Cousins! We’re sending infinite prayers up to Deion Sanders following the news that he is currently facing the possibility of having his left foot amputated!

Earlier this week the Colorado Buffaloes coach shared a video clip to Instagram where he gave behind the scenes look of him speaking with a series of surgeons.

Deion spoke with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ken Hunt, and vascular surgeons Dr. Donald Jacobs and Dr. Max Wohlauer as he explained the ongoing health issues he’s been experiencing. “I don’t have feeling in the bottom of my foot at all,” says the 55-year-old. “I just want to know what we could do because I want to do it this summer. When we get rolling, I’m not gonna have time to do it.”

According to ESPN, Deion previously had two toes amputated due to blood clots. He believed that he would only have to have another round of toes removed to alleviate the pain he is currently dealing with.

Reports read that Deion missed a total of three games at Jackson State in 2021 after having two toes amputated within the season.

Sanders took over the downtrodden Buffaloes program in December following Colorado’s 1-11 season in 2022, per ESPN.
