Ne-Yo made trending reports last week as he shared his views on the popularity of misogynistic lyrics!

While appearing on the Los Angeles based radio show , “The Cruz Show”, the singer pointed out that he blames men for half of the practices. However he also stated that women could squash men referring to them as b****** if they didn’t encourage such behavior.

Ne-Yo says that the more misogynistic the song lyrics are the more women accept them. He advised women not to dance to such records that involve them being called out of their names, reports Atlanta Black Star.

“The more misogynistic the lyrics get, the more y’all accept it, the more it’s gonna happen. That’s just kinda what that is. So, ladies, I love y’all to death, but if y’all want men to stop calling you ‘b*tches,’ stop dancing to them records.”

Once the video clip of the interview began to circulate, social media users taped in with their own opinions challenging Ne-Yo’s comments.

Cousins, what are your thoughts on this?
