Cousins!
The internet streets are buzzing with possible news that MTV’s popular improv and comedy series ‘Wild N’Out’ is set to make a possible comeback sooner than we imagined!
In a recent interview with Variety, ViaComCBS president of Entertainment and Youth Group Chris McCarthy reveals that he has been in contact regularly with ‘Wild N Out’ leading man Nick Cannon.
As we previously reported Wild N’ Out was pulled from networks across the board in July following controversial comments made on Nick’s podcast Cannon’s class.
Within the interview McCarthy states, “We continue to follow Nick’s journey and I’m impressed by how he’s owned his mistakes.”
He continues to speak on his relationship with Nick, “He’s been an extended part of our family for almost 20 years and a personal friend of mine for almost half that. He’s leading by example, apologized and trying to learn to understand and help others do the same. That’s the kind of partner we want to work with.”
Sources have confirmed that there hasn’t been an exact revival date for the series as of yet however Cannon’s manager, Michael Goldman, has indicated that he believes the relationship between Cannon and McCarthy could play a major part within the show’s favor.
“Chris knows who Nick is as a person,” Goldman says. “I trust him to get us there.”
