Brandon T. Jackson states his career went down hill when he dressed up as woman!

Stand up comedian #BrandonTJackson has played in over a dozen films throughout the years but he states there is one project in particular that participated in the overall downfall of his career!

In a recent interview with #ComedyHype Jackson states his roll in the 2011 film Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son staring #MartinLawrence held a negative effect on his career. He believes that dressing up in the movie as a woman wasn’t a good idea at all.

“Everything went wrong when I put on that dress,” he said. “It was a negative changing point, to be honest… My personal life was in shambles at that time. It was horrible.”

Jackson states that he never thought the film was that good to begin with.

“First of all, no offense, the movie wasn’t that good, to me,” he said. “It wasn’t a prolific film. I sound so mean, like, ‘You should be grateful for it,’ but I’m real. It wasn’t the best movie. It was an entertaining film.”

He then adds, “I did it purely for the money and to work with Martin Lawrence.”

Jackson states that at this point in his life if he were offered a role of that caliber his answer would be an immediate No, “the whole dress bit was already overdone,” he states “you couldn’t pay the ‘awakened Brandon’ a trillion dollars.”

Though the film had major success and reportedly produced over $90 million dollars, Jackson states its one of his ultimate regrets.
