Beloved football player and father of 5 Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson is letting it be known early that he will not be spending money on designer clothing when it comes down to his newborn!

The 44-year-old appeared alongside his adorable baby girl, Serenity Paula Johnson in a 60-second clip, joking about spending money on designer labels for his daughter. Chad went on to also poke fun at other celebrities for buying extravagant gifts for their kids, who can’t understand the value in the lavish items. 

“We got you in this thang flamed up. I see you flamed up,” he said, as he held his baby girl, referring to her cute red-sweater ensemble. “We don’t do the designer sh-t for the kids. I know it’s cute. It’s a thing. It’s a culture thing – a status of freedom you might say, ‘Oh, I got money,’ ” he continued.  

“No. No. We do Oshkosh- B’gosh,” he said before yelling to his fiancée for confirmation on the pronunciation of the American children’s apparel company, a subsidiary of Carter’s. reports Atlanta Blackstar“Yea, yeah. The French dude. We do Target, you know,” the dad added before going back to play with the newborn. “Drip starts in the home early…” Johnson captioned the hilarious post.

Johnson’s fiancee’ and mother of Serenity, Sharelle Rosado, were spotted in the comments saying, “Lord lol I step away for two mins lol.” 

I must say, I do agree with his logic. But if you have the money to splurge on your kid, then why not? Your money, your kid, your say so. Everyone is pretty different. Cousins, would you buy designer brands for your children if you had the cash?
