Cousins! The ‘Little Mermaid’ leading lady Halle Bailey is letting folks in on her real life fairytale love story with DDG and how the growing romance has changed a part of her world!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Halle was asked if her boyfriend born Darryl Grandberry Jr. has the makings of being a real life Prince Charming. She responded in saying as notably smiling, “ People love to talk about this,” she says, while adding, “Yeah. I would say that.”
Halle also explains how she is enjoying life and how her relationship has added to her happiness while overall helping her to grow as a woman. “I think the best thing about young love is that you’re able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else,” she says. “And you’re discovering new parts of yourself and maybe things that you didn’t notice before about your heart.”
She adds, “I feel like things change when love gets more involved in your life. I have definitely discovered more within myself as a woman. …It’s a really cool thing to go through, but a transformative experience.”
Halle is set to take the box office by storm this month within the highly anticipated Disney remake of the ‘Little Mermaid’.
