New Jersey Councilwoman Discovered Shot To Death Outside Of Her Home!

Cousins! Breaking news reports indicate that a 30 year old beloved Councilwoman from New Jersey lifeless body was recently discovered within a vehicle near her home!

According to CNN, Republican councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour of Sayreville was tragically gunned down on Wednesday evening. Local officials responded to a call from dispatch around 7PM that evening where they discovered her with multiple gun wounds to her body.

It has been stated that Eunice was shot while she occupied her white Nissan SUV resulting in a chain reaction of the vehicle taking off down the road ultimately crashing into other parked cars. Sadly she was reported dead on the scene.

Local officials declare that Eunice was the gunman’s intended target however no clear motive has been determined at this time. Witness are said to have told authorities that the gunman proceeded to speed down the Garden State Parkway after tragically shooting her.

Eunice had successfully been elected to a three-year term within the six-member borough council back in November 2021. She also worked as a member of the Human Relations and was making strides in her contributions to public policy.

“Her career of public service was just beginning, and by all accounts she had already built a reputation as a committed member of the Borough Council who took her responsibility with the utmost diligence and seriousness,” said New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.

I send my condolences to Councilwoman Dwumfour’s family and friends, her governing body colleagues, and the entire Sayreville community.”

Sayreville Mayor Victoria Kilpatrick has issued a statement in response to Eunice’s death. She expressed that she is both and sad shocked by the tragic series of events. “…taken from us by a despicable criminal act.”

“Beyond her dedication to our community, I can share that she was a woman of deep faith and worked hard to integrate her strong Christian beliefs into her daily life as a person and a community leader,” she said.

“On a personal note, I can’t adequately express my feeling of sorrow at the loss of a friend.” The two woman are said to have worked together on council very closely.

Reports read that an active investigation is underway at this time and that the gunman is still at large.

Community organizer Charlie Kratovil has also released a statement following Eunice death. I personally knew her to be a very kind person and public servant. May she rest in peace.”
