Cousins! A 29 year old woman is currently facing charges for providing a false government document with the intent to verify one’s identity or age after posing as a student at a New Jersey high-school for four days!
According to People Hyejeong Shin, 29 was arrested on Tuesday January 24th just a week after enrolling into a New Brunswick, New Jersey located high school. It has been stated that she was able to attend classes amongst other students for a total of four days.
Hyejeong is said to have provided a fake birth certificate to the Board of Education, “with the intent to enroll as a juvenile,” reads an issued statement from the New Brunswick Police Department.
Superintendent Dr. Aubrey Johnson revealed that Hyejeong was also able to take “a few classes.” However it has been stated that she spent a large majority of her time with the guidance department as they sought to learn more about her overall background.

It has been stated that a student had asked Hyejeong her age and she responded by walking away and looking back over her shoulder repeatedly.
A young woman states that she regretfully shared personal information with Hyejeong after conversing with her while in class. “Not knowing she was a 29-year-old woman makes me question how safe I am in this building,” she expressed.
A series of students declare that Hyejeong had texted them attempting to make plans to hang out. An unnamed student detailed that she would ask female students, “to hang out at Commercial Avenue, but they never showed up.” She is said to have began acting strange afterwards.
Another student states she was looking to, “lure kids to a specific street.”
The 29 year old is said to have been in contact with students as late as Monday afternoon through text messages. As of right now each student has been advised by the school’s board to refrain from having any contact with her whether in person or remotely.
Hundred of students have began to protest throughout the school’s hallways as they as well as members of the community have been left in complete outrage. “We feel so unsafe and nobody wants to listen to us.”
