Cousins! Please join us in sending lots of love and infinite prayers to legendary singer and songwriter Celine Dion as she recently revealed she’s been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
Appearing in an emotionally lengthy video Celine explained that she has been diagnosed with incurable neurological disease which causes her muscles to tense up without her control.
“As you know, I’ve always been an open book and I wasn’t ready to say anything before, but I am ready now,” he shares Celine.I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.”
Celine continues in saying that her condition affects ultimately affects her ability to perform as well as sing including regular daily activities. “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I’m used to.
She proceeded in canceling her scheduled Summer 2023 shows and rescheduled her Spring ones to 2024.
Reports read that Celine was forced to cancel North American tour dates and dates on her Las Vegas residency earlier this year due to health concerns.
