Earlier this week on Monday evening. after 4PM EST, police sources state Malikah Shabazz, 56 lifeless body was discovered by her daughter Bettih-Bahiyah Shabazz, 23. Together they shared a home on E. 28th St

According to the ABC News, Malikah alongside her twin Malaak were the youngest of Malcolm’s and wife Betty Shabazz six daughters.

Reports read that police officials suspect no foul play as it appears Malikah was suffered from an undisclosed illness for quite some time.

Police Commissioner Dermot Shea says, “At this point in time, working with other authorities, the medical examiner, and speaking to the family, she had been ill for a period of time. And at this point, nothing appears suspicious.”

Police are “absolutely not” looking for a suspect, he added.

Family members also informed first responders that she had possibly experienced food poisoning earlier in the day.
