Wendy Williams is trending in these social media streets heavily right now following her recently aired hot topics segment where she spoke on the tragic murder of popular TikTok star Swavy !

According to the NY Post , Swavy also known as Matima Miller, 19 was gunned down in broad daylight on Monday morning.

Swavy had well over 2.3 million followers on TikTok and over 400,000 followers on Instagram. The teen was known for making dance videos, memes and comedy snippets.

Reports read that on Monday around 10:24AM police officials had responded to a call where a victim had been exposed to life threatening injuries. Swavy was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.

Wendy started the insensitive segment off by asking audience members as well as her show’s cast and crew if they were familiar with Swavy before announcing his death. She compared his social media following to her’s while showing a picture of him on the show’s projected screen.

Following the show’s airing countless social media users have taken to Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter to speak on Wendy’s delivery.
