Please join us in sending our deepest condolences to the family of a one year old baby girl that has been confirmed as dead after being locked in a hot car because her father refused police officers to break open the windows!

Sidney Deal, 27 was arrested on Monday in #LasVegas after his daughter Sayah was accidentally locked inside his vehicle, reports People.

Sources have confirmed that Sidney told his brother that offered to smash open the windows he couldn’t afford to pay for any damages to his new car.

Reports read that Sidney’s girlfriend had called a locksmith to assist but he denied them also due to the price they offered.

It has been indicated that police officers arrived on the scene around 3PM but were advised by Sidney that his daughter would be okay because the air conditioner was on and that he would rather wait for a tow truck.

Further reports confirm Sayah was locked in the car for an hour and appeared to be breathing.

“The dad said that the A/C was on and the kid was playing, and when the officers arrived, they saw that she was breathing” says police spokesman Larry Hadfield.

“But when the officers got concerned for the child’s well-being, they broke the window.”

Sidney is currently being held in Clark County Detention Center on $20,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for this upcoming Thursday.
