It appears that #NewYorkCity is scheduled to enter phase four beginning next week Monday, however malls and museums have been ordered to remain closed until further notice!
According to NBCNY, the decision was made following Governor Andrew Cuomo receiving international experts review of metrics within the five boroughs.
It has been indicated that phase four will not include none of the additional indoor activities that have been provided with the transition of the rest of New York state.
NYC has been cleared to enter Phase 4 of reopening, starting Monday, July 20.
Phase 4 will not include indoor activity in malls, restaurants or cultural institutions at this point.

Sources have confirmed that phase four will consist of the official reopening of low risk outdoor venues such as Zoos, and botanical garden areas. Also marking the return of media, tv shows and fanless sports. However strict capacity regulations and mandatory COVID precautions will be set into place.
As of right now there has been no details forwarded indicating when indoor eating will go to into effect. Both DeBlasio and Cuomo have warned that they do want to rush the reopening process and potentially risk a spike in COVID cases.
“Now that we’ve gotten this far let’s hang onto it. Let’s stay focused. Let’s stay disciplined,” states DeBlasio.
“We’ve got to strike a balance, and we’ve got time — watch what’s happening around the city, watch what’s happening around the country, and we’ll do that working closely with the state of New York.”
