CASE CLOSED! Megan Thee Stallion just secured a major W in her defamation battle against blogger Milagro Cooper.

A Florida jury made up of five men and four women sided with the Houston rapper, ruling in her favor on claims of defamation and harassment.

According to NBC News, Megan was initially awarded $75,000, though U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga later reduced the amount to $59,000.

As previously reported, Megan accused Milagro of acting as a “mouthpiece,” “puppet,” and “paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez. She also alleged that Milagro encouraged her thousands of Instagram and Twitter followers to view a sexually explicit deepfake video of Megan that had been circulating online.

“We’re thankful for the jury’s commitment to reinforcing the importance of truth, accountability and responsible commentary on social media,” Megan’s attorney Mari Henderson said in a statement.

“Not only is Milagro being held accountable for paying Megan compensatory and punitive damages, but Florida’s fee-shifting legal provision will require her to cover costs of Megan’s legal bills on the deepfake claim. This verdict sends a clear message that spreading dangerous misinformation carries significant consequences.”

This victory sends a clear message: spreading lies and exploiting Black women online comes with real consequences, and Megan is not letting anyone get away with it.
