A street interview in New York City turned physical as a pro-life reporter took two jabs to the face while debating the topic of abortion with another woman!
The conversation between an unidentified woman and pro-life activist Savannah Craven Anato started out both friendly and innocent as the woman can be heard completing the 23-year-old reporter on her energy. However, in a matter of minutes, things took a swift turn as they debated their difference in opinions.
Within the now widely circulated clip the woman says, “You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child.” Savannah then responded by saying “I’m not the one who admitted they would be OK with killing babies in foster care and killing children that had been abused.”
Ultimately the exchange became extremely heated as both women continued to fire back at one another. “That’s not the point,” said the woman as she then landed two punches to Savannah’s face. After the punches landed she walked off immediately and strolled down the street
The hits caught Savannah off guard as she screamed with smeared blood appearing on her face while the camera turned towards her.
Savannah suffered a swollen black left eye, two stitches below her eyebrow. She says she has pain in her nasal area, reports the NY Post.
“Mentally, I’m kind of struggling. I am having a lot of stress — just flashbacks about what happened to me,” said Savannah.
“Every time I go on my phone and I open any social media, I see the video of myself being assaulted. And it’s like I go back to the moment. It’s terrifying.”
Sources state the woman is still on the loose as the April 3rd incident remains under investigation.
