Kevin Hart’s vegan restaurant ‘Hart House’ has officially closed the doors on all of its Los Angeles-based locations following only two years of business!
The shocking news was announced on social media Wednesday afternoon as the company issued a direct statement to its followers. “To our team, guests, and community, who helped make the change we all craved. A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we start a new chapter.”
According to CBS News locations in Westchester, Monrovia, and University Park including their flagship store in Hollywood have all been shut down.
“The response to the product has been incredible, and we thank our committed team, our customers, and our community partners for helping make the change we all craved, and for their unwavering support of Hart House,” said Hart House CEO Andy Hooper in a statement to Eater LA.
‘Hart House’ opened in 2022 with a menu filled with Vegan burgers, ‘chicken’ nuggets, sandwiches, fries, milkshakes, tots, salads, and more. Kevin launched the vegan fast food chain after adopting a plant-based lifestyle.
CBS News reports that Hart House LA shutdowns aren’t the only fast food joints closing down locations in the city as the popular burger joint Shake Shack has also closed multiple sites due to under performance.
