Super producer Jesse Collins is on an all-time high after successfully wrapping up production of the 76th Emmy Awards—but the work doesn’t end there as he’s making moves to New Orleans for the highly anticipated Super Bowl LIX halftime show!

In an interview with Variety, Collins shares his excitement for next year’s halftime performance, while also shedding light upon the constant online debate regarding this year’s headliner Kendrick Lamar and NOLA native Lil Wayne. “We love Wayne,” says Collins. “There’s always Vegas odds on who’s going to get to perform it. But I think we’re going to do an amazing show with Kendrick, and I think everybody’s going to love the halftime show. I know Kendrick is going to work exceptionally hard to deliver an amazing show.”

Collins has taken on the role of Executive Producer for the Halftime show since 2021 while joining forces with Jay-Z and the Roc Nation team.

Further in the interview Collins confirmed that Jay has picked the halftime show headliner every year and that his pick has always been well-received by the public.“It’s a decision that Jay makes,” says Collins. “Since we’ve been on board with that show, he’s made it every year, and it’s been amazing. He’s always picked right!”
