Cousins! Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reached the end of the road in their marriage following reports that the singer has officially filed for divorce!
According to Fox News, filed for divorce on Tuesday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
News of the couple’s split doesn’t come as a shock to many as rumors have been in heavy circulation throughout the year of them living in separate households. “He started moving out a while ago,” a source told Fox News Digital back in June.
“The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly.”
The former couple secretly tied the knot in 2022 while in Las Vegas. Court documents obtained by Fox News shows that, Jennifer had legally changed her last name and changed it to “Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
Together they later hosted an intimate ceremony in their backyard for friends and family within their $8 million Georgia mansion. Ben is said to have purchased the mansion 20 years ago when they first began dating
