Cousins! Folks on Twitter are calling Trey Songz out for a weird flex this afternoon after sharing he scrapped a video because there weren’t enough Black women in it!
Within a post and delete, Trey also expressed that he was called the N-word while out in Spain and that though the song is “cold” he didn’t feel right releasing the video.
“Archives. I scrapped this video ’cause it wasn’t enough Black women in it,” wrote Trey on Instagram. “In Spain, the last time somebody called me a ‘ni**er’ didn’t feel right. Song cold tho Traw my dawg, Tyga.”
In response to Trey’s post, social media users began to weigh in on his decision to scrap the video.
“I don’t wanna see no news about Trey songz in 2024 other than “…is finally in jail” lmao who tf cares about that name at this point,” wrote a Twitter (X) user.
“Idk why Trey Songz thought we was going to applaud him for that raggedy video talking about it wasn’t enough black women so he scrapped it. You knew that when you got on set, fool. 🙄”
“lmaooo Trey songz really just tried to play in black women’s face with the caption to that weak ass vid and song 😭,”wrote another user.
Social media users accused the singer of attempting to kick off a sympathy campaign by rallying behind Black women, instead social media users began to discuss the long list of sexual allegations Trey has been accused of throughout the years.
