Beloved Actor Appearing In Over 200 Films And Television Series, Bill Cobbs Has Passed Away At 90 Years Old!

Cousins, it is with a truly heavy heart that we inform you all of the passing of beloved actor Bill Cobbs!

The announcement of Bill’s death was announced on Facebook Wednesday afternoon by a member of his family.

“We are saddened to share the passing of Bill Cobbs. On Tuesday, June 25, Bill passed away peacefully at his home in California. A beloved partner, big brother, uncle, surrogate parent, godfather, and friend, Bill recently and happily celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by cherished loved ones.” 

The statement continues, “As a family, we are comforted knowing Bill has found peace and eternal rest with his Heavenly Father. We ask for your prayers and encouragement during this time.”

Bill’s legacy consists of a long list of over 175 combined film and television credits. Amongst his extensive resume in the entertainment industry, Bill has appeared in ‘movies such as I Still Know What You Did Last Summer’ ‘‘New Jack City’, “Night At The Museum,” “Demolition Man,” and many more.

Prior to his life on the big screen, Bill was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He started a career serving in the Air Force and also worked at IBM, including selling cars for a living, reports WBLS.

At the age of thirty years old, he is said to have moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
