“The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”

The signer continued, “ Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in.”

“This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always,Cassie.”

As we previously reported, A gut-wrenching 2016 video clip was shared back in May by CNN that shows Diddy brutally assaulting Cassie.

The incident occurred on March 5th, 2016 at the the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. Cassie can be seen walking down a hallway barefooted, as she enters the elevator area she places her bags on the floor and attempts to put her shoes on. Diddy appearing in only a towel and socks runs down the hallway and attacks her from behind knocking her to the floor and dragging her.

Since the release of the dated video, Diddy has taken to social media to extend an apology for his actions.

“I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he continuer. “I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”

Cousins, please join us in keeping Cassie uplifited in prayer.
