Cousins! Power Book 2: Ghost lead actor Michael Rainey Jr reveals to fans that he was also blindsided by today’s announcement of the beloved series coming to an official end!
“I ain’t know sh*t bro. I found out the same time y’all found out,” said Michael in an Instagram live video to fans.
He says that the decision was made by the higher ups and that he respects it. Thankfully, Michael shares that this isn’t the end for him and Gianni Paolo though. “But don’t trip y’all, a lot of new sh*t coming. Me and Gianni writing sh*t. A lot of new sh*t is in motion. We got out own stuff in the making.”
Further along in the shared clip Michael admits that he knew about the showing coming to an end but not in any official capacity. “ I mean they do tell us but I guess sometimes they want to do sh*t their way .”
As we previously reported back in 2022, Micheal called out the Stars network insisting that they were “disrespectful” while asking fans how they feel if the show never returned.
Starz announced the official cancellation of Power Book 2: Ghost Friday afternoon following its fourth and final season.
