Power Book II : Ghost To Officially End After Fourth Season!

Cousins! The Starz network has officially dropped the long-awaited trailer for Power Book II: Ghost with an unexpected bombshell as they announce the beloved series is coming to an end!

Within a post to social media Friday afternoon the Starz network shared with fans that the upcoming season will consist of two parts debuting on June 7th and September 6th.

“Get the strap. Grab your homies. Prepare for the end. The two-part final season of #PowerGhost premieres June 7 on STARZ,” reads the caption.

According to Variety the series premiere will air on the franchise’s official ten year anniversary.

“This explosive season of ‘Ghost’ is a fitting crescendo in a decade of an immensely popular franchise – fans will not be disappointed,” stated Kathryn Busby, president of programming for Starz. “While this marks the conclusion of one chapter, our commitment to the ‘Power’ universe endures with more compelling storytelling on the horizon.”

News of the popular series official ending comes just 24 hours after 50 cent announced they are developing a prequel dedicated to the origin stories of Tommy ( Joseph Sikora ) and Ghost ( Omari Hardwick) .

Reports read that additional series spin-offs “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” and “Power Book IV: Force” are currently filming their fourth and third seasons.

The final season of “Ghost” is set to star actors Michael Rainey Jr., Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Larenz Tate, Caroline Chikezie, Lightskinkeisha, and series new comer Michael Ealy.
