Cousins! Charlamagne Tha God is calling out a series of news outlets for inaccurate reports after dubbing Jada Pinkett Smith‘s memoir ‘Worthy’ a “HUGE FLOP”
Both Newsweek and the Daily Mail published articles this week noting that Jada’s continuously trending book had failed to secure chart-topping book sales.
According to Statista, Jada’s tea spiller dropped down to number 81 on Amazon Books’ bestseller list. Newsweek also declared that ‘Worthy’ failed to make the cut for Kindle’s top e-reader chart, Newsweek reports.
However, the New York Times has crowned ‘Worthy’ the number three spot on their New York Times’ Best Selling List.
“I truly don’t know what’s happening in media anymore,” wrote Charlamagne in a post to Instagram.
“As you can see #Worthy debuted at Number 3 on the @nytimes best sellers list which is HUGE, but when you swipe left you see headlines saying the book is a Flop!!! How is a book debuting at Number 3 on The NY Times best sellers list considered a flop?? One headline said it barely cracked the top ten???
He continues, “I’m truly confused by this. It’s a good thing Halloween is right around the corner because we are truly in some spooky times. NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE TRUTH WHEN THE LIE IS MORE ENTERTAINING, but always remember “Truth will always be truth, regardless of lack of understanding, disbelief or ignorance.”
Jada also shared the news with her fans accross social medianof ‘Worthy’ landing number three on the New York Times Bestseller list.
